Harvey was born in Leeds, Yorkshire in 1943. He showed a remarkable artist talent with pencil sketches and the ability to paint a variety of styles from an early age.

In 1978 we moved to Cornwall as a family and settled in Veryan, which is a very picturesque Cornish Village situated on the Roseland Peninsular and famous for its Round Houses.

For many years we sold Harvey’s paintings from our Cottage, but felt the gallery disserved its own space. On the 30th January 1998, due to the success of the Art Gallery we moved to the larger premises of Elerkey Guest House also Veryan (Brochure available on the welcome link button above). This enabled us to expand the gallery and bring it into the centre of the village.

Harvey has a wide selection of Original Watercolour, Pastel, and Line and Wash paintings available for sale in the art Gallery. He also works in oils and acrylic paint and commissions can be taken on any subject in any medium.

By complete contrast, Harvey covers a wide range of Military subjects. Again, commissions are willingly accepted. Harvey is happy to research any period of history for you or work from information provided.

Because of enormous response to Harvey’s paintings of local views he has a selection of original paintings reproduced as high quality prints. Some of which are displayed below.

Should you like any of the paintings or prints posted, we arrange postage and packing per order. Each order is sent 1st class, You only pay the amount the post office charge.

We contact you with the price of postage and post your painting on receipt of your sterling cheque or postal order.

The Gallery and Gift Shop is over-flowing with beautiful, reasonably priced Silk Flowers, Pottery and Glassware.

We always have a selection of Silk Flower Arrangements in pottery to purchase or you can have a display designed for you, taking into account colour schemes etc.

Also available are silk flower arrangements in glass, set in resin and pebbles to give the natural fresh water look. Again these can be designed for you but three days have to be given for the resin to set.

The silk flowers can be purchased as single stems or in bunches. Orders for Silk Bouquets and hand tied arrangements can also be taken.

The pottery selection is varied and can be purchased as gifts without flowers. We also have a delightful selection of Gift Boxed Glassware.
