A warm welcome awaits everyone staying for Bed and Breakfast, visiting the coffee shop or people wishing to view the wide range of Harvey’s Original Paintings and Prints, which are for sale in the Art Gallery and Gift Shop, along with the extensive collection of Silk Flowers, pottery and Glassware. A selection of Harvey’s Art work is available to view on the Gallery link button above.

Although the hours are 10am - 5pm (March to Christmas) you are welcome to come to the gallery out of the above hours.

We serve Speciality Fair Trade Coffees, Light Lunches, Homemade Cakes, and Cornish Cream Teas throughout the day.

Come to the charming village of Veryan, famous for it's Round Houses, and enjoy a wonderful Cornish holiday.

In the heart of the village is Elerkey House, a friendly family run guest home to Margaret and Harvey Graver and family since 1998. Along with their daughter and son in-law, Anne and Brian, this delightful country house has been lovingly transformed and up-graded to an A.A. Rating of Four Stars in the Guest Accommodations Scheme.

Set in it's own beautiful grounds, with ample parking, Elerkey offers high standards of en-suite bed and breakfast accommodation, where hospitality and service are exemplary. All the guest rooms are charming, comfortable and en-suite. Bedrooms are equipped with radio, hospitality tray, colour television, hair dryer and direct dial telephone with alarm call facility.

The lounge overlooks the garden and patio area, which on warm sunny days are sun traps. Parasols and cushions are always available. Although the guest house is non-smoking we have no objections to anyone smoking in the garden or on the patio.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The Village has lots of amenities with gift shops and art galleries. Tennis, indoor and outdoor bowls are available at the village sports club.

Veryan Riding Centre has a good indoor riding school and well-schooled horses for tuition or hacking. The New Inn serves traditional ales, lovely lunches and evening meals.

St. Symphorian's Church, which leads down to the water gardens and park, has regular Sunday services. the local store is open daily and is home to the village Post Office.

 

The Roseland Peninsula is one of the most picturesque and unspoiled parts of the British Isles. The perfect holiday setting, with idyllic coastal and inland walks, delightful beaches strung along the coast.

Carne and Pendower are very close to hand, just over one mile from Elerkey House. They both offer clean, safe bathing, golden sands and rock pools at low tide - ideal for a family holiday.

Also the beautiful coves of Kiberick, Caragloose and Paradoe are within easy reach.

Westwood lies the River Fal, with hidden creeks and beauty spots. St. Just in Roseland Church is set in magnificent semi-tropical gardens leading down to the waters edge.

St. Mawes offers a wide selection of boat and fishing trips. Lamorran House Mediterranean style gardens overlook the bay. Enjoy the breathtaking views of Carrick Roads from historic St. Mawes Castle and Grounds. A daily passenger ferry runs to Falmouth, home to Pendennis Castle and the National Maritime Museum.

Visit the enchanting Smugglers Cottage of Tolverne, steeped in history of D.Day. Home to the M.V.Cornish Belle, you can take a river cruise from here to Falmouth.

Watch the fisherman unload lobster, crab and other fish from their boats in the nearby harbour of Portloe. Enjoy the village of Portscatho, the tranquillity of Place Creek and Percuil River. St. Antony Head and Battery offer wonderful panoramic views and delightful coastal walks.
